• Tenders are invited for Accessories and Equipment & Services for Engineering and Civil Works 1.1 All Aluminium Accessories 1.2 Supply of Electronic Equipment, Generators, Air Conditioners 1.3 Supply of all kinds of building maintenance equipment (Cement, sand, metal, bricks, G.l. Steel, Roofing Sheets, Plywood, MDF Board, P.V.C. Plumbing Fittings and Accessories, Tiles, Bathroom Accessories etc., varieties of Paints and Water Tanks and related accessories, Hume Pipes, Concrete Posts, Boundary Stones, Cement, Cement Blocks, Concrete Blocks, Concrete related Goods and Concrete Mix and gravel) 1.4 Supply of Electrical Equipment and Accessories (Wires, Circuit, Breakers, Switch Boards, L.E.D. Bulbs, Flash Bulbs, Street Lamp Sets, Sodium Bulbs etc.) 1.5 Supply of Fire Extinguishing Equipment and Refilling, Fire Protection Solutions etc. 1.6 Supply of Timber 1.7 CCTV, Finger Marking Machines 1.8 Tar and Colas A registration fee of Rs. 1000.00 should be paid for each application submitted for registration and that fee may either be paid to this office between 9.00 am and 3.00 pm on working days or may be paid by a cheque drawn in favour of "Municipal Commissioner, Municipal Council, Matara". Cheques submitted should be valid for 60 days. Generally quotations are invited from registered suppliers of year 2022 and the quotations submitted should be valid generally for three (03) months. The Municipal Council reserves the right to obtain goods and services from sources other than registered suppliers at times of necessity. Further, the suppliers should agree to supply goods and services on a credit period of 60 days.
