• Description:
• Expression of Interest are invited for Adaptation and Delivery of The GEAR program in Sri Lanka. Given the tangible results of GEAR in Bangladesh and Vietnam, and the recent launch of Better Works new intervention in Sri Lanka, IFC and ILO seek to adapt and deliver GEAR in Sri Lanka, where the garment industry faces similar challenges related to lack of gender diversity in leadership roles, and workforce productivity. In this context, IFC is partnering with garment manufacturers in the country to assess their specific demands and deliver GEAR to female employees, while engaging with factory management to help create an enabling environment that promote career-progression opportunities for women.
