• Tenders are invited for Baggage Scanners for Eastern Entrance of Defence Headquarters Complex at Akuregoda Interested bidders may obtain further information from. The Chairman, Project Procurement Committee (PPC), C/o The Director Project Management Unit, Defence Headquarters Complex Project, Akuregoda Road, Pelawatta, Battaramulla and inspect the tender documents free of charge al the same address from 28th February 2022 until 29th March 2022 from 0900 hrs to 1500 hrs during a working day and 0900 hrs to 1000 hrs on 30th March 2022. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to The Chairman, Project Procurement Committee (PPC), C/o The Director Project Management Unit, Defence Headquarters Complex Project, Akuregoda Road, Pelawatta, Battaramulla on 28th February 2022 until 29th March 2022 from 0900 hrs to 1500 hrs and 0900 hrs to 1000 hrs on 30th March 2022, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Sri Lankan Rupees Five Thousand (LKR 5,000/ = ). The method of payment will be in Cash/Bank draft in favour of The Ministry of Defence. Bids shall be delivered to the address below or shall be deposited in the tender box placed in the below address at or before 1000 hrs. on 30th March 2022 and the late bids will be rejected. Rids will be opened soon after closing in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend. Pre-Bid meeting will be held at 1100 hrs on 09th March 2022 at the site of Defence Headquarters Complex at Akuregoda. Bids shall be valid for 91 days (28th June 2022) after the Bid opening. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid-Security of Sri Lankan Rupees 420,000/ = obtained from a reputed commercial bank operating in Sri Lanka or an agency acceptable to the Employer and shall be valid for 119 days (26th July 2022 including bid open date).
