  • Description:
  • Tenders are invited for Buildings on Rental Basis for Sri Lanka Army. a) Accommodation for Senior Officers / Officers • Should be an apartment with rooms with attached bathrooms to accommodate 100 or more officers / 01 or more buildings with the same number of rooms required (02 or 03 buildings). • Should have a dining area that can cater to 30 to 40 people at a time. • Attached bathrooms if an apartment or otherwise a common bathroom for 02 rooms. • Should have piped drainage systems according to approved methods for disposal of sewage, rain water and waste. • Bedrooms should not be modified living rooms. • Should have a kitchen with facilities to cook for 100 persons at a time. • Should have parking facilities for around 25-30 light vehicles. • Should be equipped with safety fence / wall. • Should have three phase electricity and pipe borne water. • Should be equipped with a generator to supply power to the entire building in the event of a power outage. • Accommodation and sanitation facilities for 100 or more officers and 30 other staff members. b) Accommodation for Other Ranks • A building or several buildings of about 60,000-70,000 sq. ft. to accommodate about 1000 other ranks (areas in close proximity to the Army Headquarters). • Having toilets and sanitary facilities (01 for 08 persons). If it is an apartment, sanitary facilities should be on the same floor or otherwise one common place should be arranged. • Should have piped drainage systems according to approved methods for disposal of sewage, rain water and waste. • Should have parking facilities for vehicles including 05 heavy vehicles. • Should have a kitchen with all the facilities to cook for 1000 persons at a time. • Should be equipped with safety fence / wall. • Should have three phase electricity and pipe borne water. • Should be equipped with a generator to supply power to the entire building in the event of a power outage. • Should be with wide pathways enabling heavy vehicles to move. • Accommodation and sanitation facilities for 1000 members of other ranks and 30 other staff members.
