• Description:
• Tenders are invited for Construction of Box Culvert Thumpeleppuwa Channel Civil Cost: 733415/- Bid Bond: 7335/- A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be obtained by interested parties making a non- refundable payment of Rs. 1000.00 to the Account Section of the department by a written application from 15.03.2022 to 29.03.2022. Such documents may be collected from the office of “Provincial Department of Irrigation, 5th floor, District Secretariat Building, Galle” during office hours (from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.). Relevant bidding documents for each district Galle, Matara and Hambantota may be purchased from District Irrigation Engineer-s offices in the same manner. Bids shall be valid up to 15.06,2022. Bids should be accompanied with an unconditional Bid Security valid up to 15.09.2022. This could be an accredited bank guarantee/order obtained from a commercial bank registered with the Central Bank of Sri Lanka as per the standard format or a receipt of cash payment to the office. Duly completed bids i.e. original and the copy should be submitted in two separate envelopes indicated as "Original” and “Copy” enclosing both in a single sealed envelope with the title of the relevant work mentioned at left top corner, should be sent by registered post addressed to “The Chairman - Procurement Committee, Provincial Director of Irrigation, Southern Provincial Irrigation Department, 5th Floor, District Secretariat Building, Galle” to be received at or before 11.00 a.m. on 30.03.2022 or may be hand delivered and deposited in the Bid Box kept at the above address. Bids will be opened soon after closure of acceptance at 11.00 a.m. on 30.03.2022. Bidders or their authorized representatives may be present at the occasion. Late bids will be rejected.
