• Tenders are invited for Construction of New CDC Building & Play Area at Hapugastenna Tea Estate Tender Fee: 5000/- Non Refundable Bid Security: 150000/- The contract period is 180 Calendar days from the date of award of the contract. Interested bidders may obtain further information from Project Director, Early Childhood Development Project, 6th Floor, Wing A, Scthsiripaya Stage II, Battarainulla, Telephone No 0112 186163, Fax 0112 186169 and Email: procspec.ecd@gmail.com and inspect the bidding documents at the address given above from 18th October 2021 to 07th November 2021, 9.30-15.00 hrs on working days. A complete set of Bidding Documents In English language may be purchased by any prospective Bidder or their accredited agent on submission of a written request to the Procurement Specialist, Procurement Unit,Early Childhood Development Project, 6th Floor, Wing A, Scthsiripaya Stage II, Battaramulla, Telephone No 0112 186163, Fax 0112 186169 and Email: procspec.ecd@gmail.com, 06th Floor, Sethsiripaya - Stage II, Battaramulla from 18th October 2021 to 07th November 2021 on working days upon payment of non-refundable fee as in the above table 01 to Shroff in Finance Unit in ECD. A Bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of bank guarantee as per the specimen in the bidding documents and issued by a commercial bank/Construction Guarantee Fund (CGF) operating in Sri Lanka and registered under the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. The value of the bid securities given in the table 1 and validity period of bid securities are 105 days after the deadline of bid. Any bid not accompanied by a valid Bid Security will be rejected. Bids shall be delivered in duplicate to the address below at Chairman, Project Procurement Committee |PPC) Early Childhood Development Project, State Ministry of Women and Child Development, Pre-School & Primary Education, School Infrastructure & Education Services, 6th Floor, Wing A, Sethsiripaya Stage II, Battaramulla on or before 08th November 2021 at 1.30 PM. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened soon after closing in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend. A pre - bid meeting will be held at 10.00 am on 28th October 2021 at the Auditorium, Early Childhood Development Project, 6th Floor, Wing A, Sethsiripaya Stage II, Battaramulla. All the bidders are strongly advised to attend this meeting. Bidder-s previous performance and the liquidity position strictly evaluated in selection of bidders. Poorly performed bidders will not be considered for awarding of any bids. The Early Childhood Development Project has no any responsibility on cost related to preparation of any bids. The Project Procurement Committee (PPC) reserves the right to accept a suitable bid out of the bids received or reject all bids. The decision of the Project Procurement Committee is final.
