• Consulting Firm for Designing and Estimation of the New Constructions at 9 Base Hospitals Health System Enhancement Project - C 3 Deadline of Submitting EOI: 30-Mar-2022 11:59 PM Manila local time Estimated Short-listing Date: 15-Apr-2022 Estimated Commencement Date: 01-Sep-2022 Estimated Commencement Date: 1,378,000 USD Engagement Period: 24 MONTH Objective and Purpose of the Assignment The objective of this assignment is to engage a consulting firm to; a. Designing and Estimation of the new constructions at 9 Base Hospitals in Thambuthegama, Medirigiriya, Rikilagaskada, Dambulla, Theldeniya, Welimada, Bibile, Kahawatte and Karawanella in each of the 9 districts in all 4 provinces of Central, North Central, Sabaragamuwa, and Uva. b. Designing and Estimation of the new Sewerage Systems or Renovating the existing Sewerage Systems in the Base Hospitals of Thambuthegama, Medirigiriya, Rikilagaskade, Welimada and Bibile in the provinces of Central, North Central and Uva. c. Developing the Bill of Quantities (BOQ)/ Estimates for Renovations in each of the Base Hospitals in Thambuthegama, Medirigiriya, Rikilagaskade, Dambulla, Theldeniya, Welimade, Bibile, Kahawatte and Karawanella. d. Developing and/or reviewing and updating the Bill of Quantities (BOQ)/ Estimates for Renovations at the National Institute of Health Services (NIHS) at Kalutara and 5 Regional Training Centers (RTCs) in the provinces of Western, Southern, Eastern, Northern and North-West. e. Assisting the Client in procurement of Construction/ Rehabilitation/ Renovation of civil works for identified health facilities at the 9 Base Hospitals, NIHS and 5 RTCs. All procurement of works, goods and services will be based on ADB procurement guidelines and principles. f. Providing Construction, Supervision and Monitoring Services during the construction stage. g. Handing over all completed facilities along with all the approved documents as per the conditions set out in the contract documents to the respective Hospitals- Medical Superintendents and Director (NIHS).
