• Tenders are invited for Establishing a Tourist Facilities Centre in Wellawaya Town Interested bidders may obtain bid documents from the Accounts Division of the Uva Provincial Ministry of Sports, Youth Affairs, Tourism, Transport, Cultural Affairs, Textile Industry and Small Industries between 9.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. on normal working days from 09.02.2022 until 25.02.2022 upon payment of a non- refundable fee of Rs. 1000/-. Interested bidders, if necessary, may obtain the specifications and other details regarding the works to be carried out either by calling over at the Uva Provincial Ministry of Tourism or by calling on Tel. Nos. 055-2231973 / 0701111881 or by email uvatourismsl@gmail.com between 9.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. on normal working days from 09.02.2022 until 25.02.2022. A pre-bid meeting will be held at 10.00 a.m. on 21.02.2022 at the Uva Provincial Ministry of Sports, Youth Affairs, Tourism, Transport, Cultural Affairs, Textile Industry and Small Industries. Duly perfected bids may either be delivered to “Accountant, Uva Provincial Ministry of Sports, Youth Affairs, Tourism, Transport, Cultural Affairs, Textile Industry and Small Industries, Raja Mawatha, Badulla” or deposited in the Tender Box of the Uva Provincial Ministry of Sports, Youth Affairs, Tourism, Transport, Cultural Affairs, Textile Industry and Small Industries to receive at or before 10.00 a.m. on 28.02.2022. Bids received after the scheduled time will be rejected. Bids will be opened at 2.00 p.m. on 28.02.2022 at the Office of the Uva Provincial Ministry of Sports, Youth Affairs, Tourism, Transport, Cultural Affairs, Textile Industry and Small Industries. Bidder or his authorized representative may be present at the time of opening of bids. When submitting bids, a refundable Unconditional bid security valid for 90 days from the date of opening of bids issued by a government recognized bank for the value of Rs. 50,000/- should be submitted with the bid.
