• Tenders are invited for Hiring of Operational, Passenger Vehicles and Machinery to Central Expressway Project Ii of Expressway Operation, Maintenance & Management Division for a Period of One Year (2021/2022) Vehicle Type Crew Cab Van-8 Sealer Pickup Truck Pickup Truck Pickup Truck Boom Truck - 5T Towing Truck Vehicle Carrier Water Bowser Sign Board Transport Truck Tipping Truck Labour Transport Truck Backhoe Loader Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Procurement Section, Expressway Operations, Maintenance & Management Division, Road Development Authority, Kahatagahahena, Walgama, Bandaragama (Telephone: 038-2289034, Fax: 038-2289560) and inspect the bidding documents during office hours free of charge. A complete set of Bidding Documents shall be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the Director (EOM&M Division), Road Development Authority, Kahatagahahena, Walgama, Bandaragama from. 14/10/2021 until 27/10/2021 between 09:00 hrs. and 15:00 hrs. upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 2,000.00 + 160 (VAT) per each bidding document. As per the Public Contracts Act No. 3 of 1987, the Agent and successful winners of the tender shall be registered in the Department of Registrar of Companies. Bids shall be delivered to the Director (EOM&M Division), Road Development Authority, Kahatagahahena, Walgama, Bandaragama at or before 10:00 hrs. on 28/10/2021. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened soon after the closing in the presence of the bidders' representatives who chooses to attend. Bid validity period shall be until 27/01/2022. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security. Bid Security shall be valid until 29/02/2022.
