• Description:
• Tenders are invited for Internal Road Carpeting (including Priming) and Road Marking - Phase 1 of Defence Headquarters Complex at Akuregoda The Works consist of: i. Internal roads surface priming, sand sealing and laying of 50mm thick Asphalt concrete layer including application of tack coat as per the drawings and specifications. ii. Surfacing adjacent to service manholes, road storm water gullies and kerb inlets areas with required compaction and finishing to lines and grades as per drawings. iii. Road marking according to the provided specifications and drawings Interested bidders may obtain further information from The Chairman, Project Procurement Committee (PPC), Defence Headquarters Complex Project, Akuiegoda Road, Pelawatta, Battaramulla and inspect the bidding documents free of charge at the same address from 08lh November 2021 until 06lh December 2021 from 0900 lirs to 1500 his during working days. A complete set of Bidding Documents (Except Volume 1) in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to The Chairman, Project Procurement Committee (PPC), Defence Headquarters Complex Project, Akuiegoda Road, Pelawatta, Battaramulla from 8lh November 2021 until 06Ih December 2021 from 0900 his to 1500 his during working days upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Fourteen Thousand Five Hundred Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR 14,500.00). The method of payment will be by Cash or Bank draft drawn in favour of Ministry of Defense. A Site visit will be held at 1000 hrs on 17th November 2021 and a Pre-bid meeting will be held at 1100 his on same day at the Project Management Unit of Defence Headquarters Complex site at Akuregoda Road, Pelawatta, Battaramulla.. All bids shall be accompanied by a "Bid-Security", of Six Hundred Forty Five Thousand Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR 645,000.00)obtained from a commercial bank operating in Sri Lanka approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka in the form of an unconditional and on demand guarantee and shall be valid up to 04lh April 2022 (119 days after the date of Bid Opening).
