• Description:
• Tenders are invited for Janitorial and Landscaping Services at Muthurajawela Terminal Year 2022/2023 Contractors are strictly advised to visit the site & follow the given details, sketch drawings, and specifications before bidding & before commencing the works. Services are to be carried out without damaging existing drains, pipes and other CPSTL property. If some damage occurs, contractor shall repair by own cost. All the work shall be carried out according to the CPSTL Fire and Safety Regulations All rates shall include 01 no. supervisor charges. Using of herbicides is not allowed within CPSTL premises unless otherwise requested by CPSTL. It is the Contractor's responsibility to maintain his staff according to labour regulations in Sri Lanka. Shall maintain daily attendance with the observation of CPSTL. All the works shall be performed according to the given schedule of services, drawings and as per the given specifications. 1 JANITORIAL SERVICES Contractor shall supply minimum 4 Nos. of janitors for the following work. 1A Cleaning of toilets (38 nos.), Mopping and drying all ceramic floor tiled area (25000sqft), Mopping and drying all cement/hard floor area (1000sqft) as per the given schedules of services. Shall provide 4 nos. Janitors. 12 Months 1B Supply of Chemicals used for Janitorial services including hand wash, Cleaning and Disinfectant chemicals, air fresheners etc. necessary for maintaining hygienic and pleasant conditions. 12 Months Janitorial & Landscaping Services at Muthurajawela Terminal, 2022 - 2023 Page 21 of 47 ITEM DESCRIPTION QTY. Shall provide 3 nos. stewardesses. 12 Months 2B Supply of Chemicals used for Steward services including toilet soaps, detergent, hand washes, air fresheners etc. necessary for maintaining hygienic and pleasant conditions. 12 Months 2C Supply of tools and Equipment use for Steward Services including trays & Trollies, cleaning aids etc. 12 Months 3 GARDENING & LANDSCAPING SERVICES The contractor shall supply minimum 15 Nos. gardeners for the following work. Gardening & Landscaping Services Rate shall include a. Maintenance of garden area, Tree pots, pruning trees, fertilizing, hormone treatment for flowering & landscaping. b. Cut the grass at least twice per month and maintain throughout the month. c. Providing chemicals, tools, equipment and fuel for tools and equipment. d. Cleaning Open ditches. e. Clearing trees, shrubs, creepers etc growing on and leaning to periphery fence adjacent to the respective area. f. Collecting and removing tree leaves, grass and garbage bins on daily basis, and transporting to a location specified by CPSTL inside or within 1km from CPSTL Muthurajawela Terminal twice a week as per the acceptable manner to local authorities. g. Collecting and removing Tree leaves, Grass and Garbage, garbage bins on daily basis and transporting to a location specified by CPSTL inside or within 1km from CPSTL Muthurajawela Terminal twice a week as per the acceptable manner to local authorities. and as per the given specifications and schedules of services. 4A Sweeping of all the open areas, footpaths, driveways, gantry and truck yards (10 Acers) to remove tree leaves, garbage and accumulated sand. 12 Months 4B Area C (0.75 acre) demarcated in Dr. No. MT/JS/001: Area around the gantry. 12 Months 4C Area V (3 acre) demarcated in Dr. No. MT/JS/001: Area around Truck Yard. 12 Months Cleaning of Concrete And Asphalt Carpeted Floor Areas Total Carried to Summary 5 WASHING GANTRY BUILDING Rate shall include a. Washing and cleaning Gantry Building floor, Pipes, Pipe racks, Platforms, Hand rails, Staircases shall be washed and cleaned with detergents once in two weeks period. b.
