• Tenders are invited for Janitorial Services, Handling of Garbage and Maintenance of Landscape Areas at New Manning Market at Peliyagoda Tender Fee: 10000/- Non Refundable Bid Security: 380000/- A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by any prospective Bidders or their accredited agents on submission of a written request to the Head of Procurement, Procurement Unit, Urban Development Authority, 07th Floor, Sethsiripaya - Stage I, Battaramulla from 26th June 2023 to 14th July 2023 between 9.00 am and 2.30 pm. on working days upon payment of a non-refundable fee as in the above table 01 to Shroff in Finance Division in Urban Development Authority. A Bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of bank guarantee as per the specimen in the bidding documents and issued by a commercial bank operating in Sri Lanka and registered under the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. The value of the bid securities and validity period of bid securities are stated in Table 01 and shall be addressed to the Chairman, Urban Development Authority. Each bid shall be delivered in duplicate in separate envelopes addressed to the Chairman, Departmental Procurement Committee (Major), Procurement Unit, Urban Development Authority, 7th Floor, Sethsiripaya, Battaramulla, on or before 17th July 2023 at 11.00 a.m. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened soon after the closing in the presence of the Bidders representatives who are nominated to attend. Pre-Bid meeting will be held at 10.30 am on 07th July 2023 at the Procurement Unit, Urban Development Authority, 07th Floor, Sethsiripaya - Stage I, Battaramulla. All the bidders are strongly advised to attend this meeting.
