• Tenders are invited for Leasing of the following Goods Sheds, Rest Rooms. Vehicle Parks and Advertising Activities. Goods Shed (Stores) in Colombo Goods Shed (Stores) Complex Goods Sheds (Stores) in the Colombo Goods Shed (Stores) Complex situated in Colombo City Centre will be leased for storing of goods for two years. (Tender applications may be obtained up to 2.00 p.m. on 20.10.2022 and the perfected applications should be submitted before 2.00 p.m. on 21.10.2022. Applications will be opened at 2.00 p.m. on 21.10.2022.) Rest Rooms First Floor of the Bandaraweia Bus Stand Building of the Department of Railways, Second Floor 04 Rest Rooms will be leased for a period of five years for business purposes. (Tender applications may be obtained up to 2.00 p.m. on 17.10.2022 and the perfected applications should be submitted before 2.00 p.m. on 18.10.2022. Applications will be opened at 2.00 p.m. on 18.10.2022.) Vehicle Parks Vehicle Parks of the Department of Railway will be leased for a period of two years. Tender applications may be obtained until the date mentioned under the abovementioned Gods Sheds, Rest Rooms, Vehicle Parks and Advertising and a fee of Rs.2,500/-(Non-Refundable) should be paid to obtain a set of tender applications. Tender applications may be obtained from the relevant Railway Stations or Trading and Marketing Division of the Railway Headquarters between 09.00 hrs and 15.00 hrs on weekdays. If anyone is applying for more than one Goods Shed, Rest Room, Vehicle Park and Advertising he/she should submit separate applications for each of them. Bids should be submitted as per the conditions and instructions that have been provided. Bids should be submitted separately, considering all the items in Schedule 01 as separate. A refundable bid bond as mentioned in the schedule also should be paid in addition to the bid form fee.
