• Description:
• Quotation are invited for Maintaining the Canteen Service - 2023/2024 Sealed bids are received by the Chairman, Procurement Committee of the Department of Inland Revenue up to 11.00 a.m. on 01.09.2023 from registered and experienced canteen keepers for maintaining the canteen services at the Head Office of the Department of Inland Revenue. Canteen services should be started on 01.10.2023. 01. Canteen of the Head Office consisting of 15 floors situated at Sir Chittampalam A. Gardiner Mawatha, Colombo 02 will have to supply food to around 2000 staff members daily and the canteen consists of latest components and equipment. 02. No rent will be charged for the canteen. This department will provide the canteen equipment free of charge and only 5% of the bills for the use of electricity, water and gas only will be charged from the canteen owner. Considering the abovementioned facilities food and beverages should be supplied at concessionary prices. 03. Relevant bid documents may he inspected free of charge at the Procurement and Assets Management Division, 15th Floor, Building of the Department of Inland Revenue, Sir Chittampalam A. Gardiner Mawatha, Colombo 02 between 10.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. on working days from 10.08.2023 until 31.08.2023. 04. Bid documents may be obtained from the Commissioner (Procurement and Assets Management) between 9.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. on working days from 10.08.2023 until 31.08.2023 on submission of a written request on a letterhead of the bidder. An On Demand bid security obtained from a reputed commercial bank that operates in Sri Lanka for a value of Rs. 10,000/- should be submitted with the bid or deposit an equivalent amount as a refundable deposit in cash in favour of Commissioner General of Inland Revenue. Sealed bids may either be sent by registered post addressed to "Commissioner (Procurement and Assets Management), Department of Inland Revenue, Sir Chittampalam A. Gardiner Mawatha, Colombo 02" or deposited in the bid box kept at the Procurement and Assets Management Division, 15th Floor, Building of the Department of Inland Revenue, by the bidder or his representative. The caption "Bid for die Provision of Canteen Services at the Department of Inland Revenue" should be clearly mentioned on the left hand top corner of the envelope containing the bid. Bidders or their authorized representatives may be present at the time of opening of bids. Bids will be opened at the Office of the Commissioner (Procurement and Assets Management), 15th Floor, Building of the Department of Inland Revenue, at 11.00 a.m. on 01.09.2023.
