• Tenders are invited for Maintaining the Toilet Cleaning Services at the Gampaha Botanical Gardens 2021 - 2022 If deposited in cash at the Department of National Botanical Gardens (Rs.) 30000/-. If submitted by a Bank Guarantee (Rs.): 50000/-. . Bid forms, conditions and other details could be obtained from the Head Office of the Department of National Botanical Gardens, No. 1094, Sirimavo Bandaranaike Mawatha, Peradeniya during office hours between 9.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. from 06.10.2021 until 26.10.2021 upon payment of a non refundable fee of Rs. 2,000.00 . A letter of request on a letterhead and the copy of the Business Registration Certificate also should be definitely submitted to obtain bid documents. 4. Bids should be perfected in duplicate (as original and duplicate) after carefully studying the bid conditions and may either be sent by registered post addressed to Chairman, Departmental Procurement Committee (Major), Department of National Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya or deposited in the Bid Box kept at the Head Office of the Department to receive before 10.30 a.m. on 27.10.2021. Late bids will be rejected. 5. The places that could be opened in the envelopes should be sealed and the name of the relevant contract should be mentioned on the top left-hand corner of the envelope. Bids will be opened immediately after closing of bids at 10.30 a.m. on 27.10.2021 in the presence of the bidders or their representatives. 6. Bid Security may be deposited with the Department of Botanical Gardens as mentioned above or else a bid security bond to the value mentioned in the schedule above, obtained from a government recognized bank valid for 90 days from the date of opening of bids should be submitted with the bid. Bids without the bid security will be rejected without any consideration. 7. Departmental (Major) Procurement Board reserves the right to take decisions regarding the bids. Director General of the Department of National Botanical Gardens reserves the right to take a decision regarding any matter that is not covered by the bid invitation notice or in the bid documents.
