• Description:
• Tenders are invited for Maintenance and Services of Air-Conditioners Installed along the Expressway Operation, Maintenance & Management Division at Outer Circular Highway Bid Security: 25000/- Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Procurement Section, Expressways Operation, Maintenance & Management Division, Road Development Authority, Kahatagahahena, Walgama, Bandaragama (Telephone: 038-2289122 / Fax: 038-2289560) and inspect the bidding documents free of charge during office hours. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security valid up to 20.02.2022. The Bid Security shall be in the form of an unconditional bank guarantee obtained from a reputed hank in favor of the Director General, Road Development Authority, No.216, “Maganeguma Mahamedura”, Denzil Kobbekaduwa Mawatha, Battaramulla. Any bid not accompanied by a valid Bid Security will be rejected. Pre-Bid Meeting - on 10* November 2021 at 10.00 a.m. Bidders can bid for only one or all bids separately (i, ii, iii). Bids shall be valid up to 91 calendar days from the date closing of the bid. A complete set of Bidding Documents in Sinhala language shall be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the Director (EOM&M Division), Road Development Authority, Kahatagahahena, Walgama, Bandaragama from 28.10.2021 until 19.11.2021 between 09:00 hrs. and 14:30 hrs. upon payment of a non- refundable fee of Rs. 1,500.00 + (VAT) pet each document set. As per the Public Contract Act No. 3 of 1987, the Agent and successful winners of the tender shall be registered in the Department of Registrar of Companies. Sealed Bids may be dispatched either by registered post or hand delivered in duplicate to the Director (EOM&M Division), Road Development Authority, Kahatagahahena, Walgama, Bandaragama to receive at or before 14:30 hrs. on 19.11.2021. Late bids will be rejected. Please indicate “Maintenance and Services of Air-Conditioners” and Contract No. on top left-hand corner of the envelope. Bids will be opened immediately after the closing of bids at the office of the Director (EOM&M Division), Road Development Authority, Kahatagahahena, Walgama, Bandaragama. Bidders or their authorized representatives are requested to be present at the time of opening.
