• Description:
• Tenders are invited for Obtaining a Building on Rent Basis The Building should comprise the following requisites : (i) Should be situated in the authority area of the Colombo Municipal Council within the Zones of Colombo 01, 02, 03, 07, 08, 10 and 12 bordering a Road with easy accessway. (ii) The extent of the building should be 3500 - 4500 sq.ft. (iii) Should have adequate space parking facility to park at least three (03) vehicles within the premises of the Building, securely and safely. (iv) Should be situated in a well protected, safe place with sanitary facilities such as pipe borne water, electricity, water sealed toilets, etc. and good water supply facilities. (v) The owner of the rented building should enter into an agreement, with the department in case where the department being transferred and installed in a Government building in a future date, possible giving three (03) months prior intimation / notice. (vi) Preference will be given to the buildings with fixed telephone line facility, garage, assembly hall, air- conditioning, electrical fans, etc. It is compulsory to submit your quotations completed on forms prepared by this department. Said quotation forms could be obtained visiting this department or sending a self-addressed envelope to this department or downloaded from the Department's Website (www.christian.gov.lk). Duly completed Tenders along with a copy of the building plan approved by the Municipal Council and a document of verification of ownership of the building should either be sent by Registered Post to the following address or deposited in the Tender Box kept at this office to be received at or before 11.00 a.m. on 30.12.2021. The caption to the effect "Obtaining a Building on Rent Basis - 2022" should be clearly indicated on the top left-hand corner of the envelope enclosing tenders. Tenders will be opened immediately after closing of tenders at 11.00 a.m. on 30.12.2021.
