• Tenders are invited for Procurement of Ammunitions for Commercial Explosives, Firearms and Ammunition Procurement (Cefap) Unit Welisara, Ragama A. Cartridges 12 SG - 250,000 Nos. B. Cartridges 12/4 - 200,000 Nos. C. Cartridges 16 SG - 9,000 Nos. D. Cartridges 16/4 - 8,000 Nos. E. .177 Air Pallets - 500,000 Nos. Bidding document may be obtained on submission of a written request to the Director, Commercial Explosives, Firearms and Ammunition Procurement Unit, upon payment of a non-re fundbale fee of Rs. 4,500.00 per One Bid from 0900 hrs to 1600 hrs on working days of the week from 14th March 2022 to 04th May 2022 (Foreign suppliers may appoint suitable local agent). All bids must be valid for a period of 120 days from the date of opening and must be accompanied with an unconditional bid bond. The relevant bid bond must be valid for a period of 150 days from the date of bid opening and the bid bond should be obtained from a commercial bank which is operating in Sri Lanka. Bidders must provide an unconditional Performance Bond for 10% of the bid value excluding taxes once the purchase order is awarded.
