• Description:
• Tenders are invited for Procurement for the Appointment of Inspectors for the Inspection of Imports to Sri Lanka Railways A complete set of Bidding Documents in English Language may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the address of the Railway Procurement Sub Department, Olcott Mawatha, Colombo 10, Sri Lanka or from the Sri Lanka Missions abroad specified in Appendix “D” from 07.08.2023 to 18.09.2023 up to 3.00 p.m. (Sri Lanka time) on payment of a non-refundable procurement fee of Rs. 3,500.00 or an equivalent sum in freely convertible currency. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security for an amount of Sri Lankan Rupees 750,000.00 or an equivalent amount in freely convertible currency. For the purpose of determining the equivalent amount, the selling exchange rate published by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka prevailing on the date 28 days prior to the deadline for bid submission shall be applied.
