• Description:
• Tenders are invited for Procurement Notice for the Supply of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (Lpg) to Litro Gas Lanka Limited for the Year 2025. The Chairman, Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC) on behalf of Litro Gas Lanka Limited (LGLL) invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Supply of 350,000 Metric Tons (MT) +/- 20% of "Stenched Pressurized Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) mix" for a period of 12 months commencing from 1sl January 2025. The LPG should be supplied in ocean tankers, which will be required to be discharged at the Litro Gas Terminal Lanka (Pvt) Limited Conventional Buoy Mooring (CBM), located off the coast of Kerawalapitiya (7 km North of Colombo) Sri Lanka, or at the Port Discharge Facility of the Colombo Port in Sri Lanka. To be eligible for contract award, the bidder shall not have been blacklisted and not have any conflict of interest in the business of Litro Gas Lanka Limited (LGLL) & Litro Gas Terminal Lanka (Pvt) Ltd (LGTLL) which include potential conflicts of interest such as Relationship/ Association with any competitor, & Shareholder/ Board Member/ Office bearer of any competitor. (Refer Bid Document for detailed information). All details pertaining to this procurement are clearly stated in the Bid Document. The said Bid Document may be obtained at the under-mentioned address on the payment of a non-refundable fee of LKR 100,000/= in the form of a pay order from a registered commercial bank in Sri Lanka on any working day (Monday - Friday) between 9.30 a.m. - 2.30 p.m. from 17,h July 2024 to 27th August 2024 (both days inclusive). All bids shall be accompanied by an irrevocable unconditionally en-cashable Bid Security in the form of a Bank Guarantee issued by a licensed commercial bank operating in Sri Lanka or a bank based in another country. However, if the Guarantee is from a bank based in another Country, the guarantee should be confirmed & assured by a licensed commercial bank operating in Sri Lanka, and be issued in favor of Litro Gas Lanka Limited. The amount of the Bid Security is USD 1,000,000 (One Million USD) and should be valid up to 28,h January 2025.
