• Tenders are invited for Procurement of Potassium Chlorate 300.0 MT for CEFAP Unit of Sri Lanka Navy The following factors and methodology will be used for evaluation: Financial and Technical aspects etc. (i) Availability of duly signed Bid submission form (ii) Availability of valid bid guarantee (iii) Adhering to given delivery schedule (Ref. Page No. 31) (iv) Adhering to given payment terms (Ref. page No. 49) (v) Availability of document and certificates registered in ITB clause ref. 11.1 e (vi) Shelf life and warranty is minimum 12 months. (vii) Testing of sample and adhering with the specification given in (Ref. page No. 34) (viii) Price Evaluation - Bid price - Discount given (ix) Past performance Bidder shall submit the documents to prove that bidder was able to supply of Potassium Chlorate 300.0 MT within last 3years. (x) The value of freights of Ceylon Shipping Corporation Ltd will be compared with supplier-s POTASSIUM CHLORATE 1. Appearance : White powder free from grit and visible impurities. 2. Composition : Potassium Chlorate as KClO3, 99.3% by mass, minimum. Moisture, 0.05% by mass, maximum Chlorides, as Cl 0.04% by mass, maximum Insoluble matter, 0.05% by mass, maximum 3. Particle Size : Mass retained on 212 /um (72 mesh), maximum 1% Mass passing through 53 /um (300 mesh), maximum 30% 4. Shelf life : Minimum of 12 months 5. Date of Manufacturer : To be indicated 6. Date of Expiry : To be indicated 7. Packing : The material shall be packed in seaworthy polyliner iron drums with desiccant bags / seaworthy strong non porous Plastic bags with desiccant bags. The iron drums / plastic bags should be securely closed. The entire Consignment to be in 20 foot Containers. 8. Markings : Should indicate date of manufacture and shelf life / date of Expiry on each drum / plastic bag.
