• Tenders are invited for Proposed Improvement, Modification and Upgrading of Class Room (Section B) for Sri Lanka Institute of Textile & Apparel A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language can be obtained by interested bidders on our website: www.slita.lk (Hard copies will not be issued) and upon payment of a non-re fundable fee of Rs. 25,000/-. The payment is made in cash to the Accounts Division from 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. on weekdays (except holidays) from 01.11.2023 to 21.11.2023 (Note: The payment slip should be attached with the bid document) Sealed bids shall be deposited in duplicate in the Tender Box made available at Sri Lanka Institute of Textile & Apparel, Kandawala Estate, No.2, General Sir John Kotelawala Road, Ratmalana, Sri Lanka or sent by registered post addressed to the Director General at the above address to reach him on or before 2.00 p.m. on 21.11.2023. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened soon after closing in the presence of the bidders- representatives who choose to attend. Tenders should be marked “Proposed Improvement, Modification and Upgrading of Class room (Section B)” on the top left corner of the envelope. Bids shall be valid for 91 days after the closing of bids. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security of Sri Lankan Rupees Two Million (LKR 2,000,000.00) obtained from a reputed commercial bank operating in Sri Lanka and shall be valid up to 20.02.2024.
