• Tenders are invited for Provision of Janitorial and Cleaning Services for the Central Bank Head Office Building, Car Park and Bank House. 1) Sealed bids are invited for the Provision of Janitorial and Cleaning Services for the under mentioned buildings and premises of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) for a period of two years from 01st January 2022. a) Head Office Building, No 30, Janadhipathi Mawatha, Colombo 01 b) Car Park Building and Gymnasium, No.30. Janadhipathi Mawatha, Colombo 01 c) Bank House, No 206, Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo - 07 2. Interested bidders should; a) have undertaken at least 10 janitorial and cleaning services contracts during the last three years ended 31st October 2021 out of which at least three contracts shall be in high rise office buildings of floor area exceeding 250,000 sqft and each having a contract value of over Rs.10.0 million (inclusive of taxes) per annum, and b) have a minimum of 200 employees in the monthly payroll for the provisioning of janitorial and cleaning services, 3. A complete set of “Bidding Documents” in English language may be purchased by interested bidders upon submission of a written request on a business letterhead to the Director, Facilities Management Department, No. 30, Janadhipathi Mawatha, Colombo -01, from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm on Bank working days from 17th November 2021 to 06th December 2021 upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rupees Five Thousand (Rs. 5,000.00) in cash. 4. Pre-Bid Meeting related to the above contract will be held on 25th November 2021 at 10.00 am at the Central Bank Head Office Premises, No 30, Janadhipathi Mawatha, Colombo-01and it is requested to attend the Pre Bid Meeting on time. 5.Duly completed bids secured in a sealed envelope should be sent by Registered Post to reach the Director, Facilities Management Department, Central Bank of Sri Lanka, No 30, Janadhipathi Mawatha, Colombo-01 or be lodged in the Tender Box placed in the Mail Room, Ground Floor, Central Bank Head Office Building on or before 2.30 pm on 07th December 2021. 6.Bids will be opened immediately after the closing of bids at 2.30 pm on 07th December 2021 in the presence of bidders or their authorised agents who choose to attend in person at the opening of bids at a Committee Room , Ground Floor, Central Bank Head Office Building, No. 30, Janadhipathi Mawataha, Colombo -01. 7.Interested bidders may obtain further information from the Maintenance & Projects Engineer, Facilities Management Department, Central Bank of Sri Lanka, No.30, Janadhipathi Mawatha, Colombo 1.
