• Tenders are invited for Purchase of 4mm - 5mm Thick 2400mm X 1200mm Size Plywood Sheets 8000 Nos for Tile Covering Works of Block No 01 and 02 Defence Headquarters Complex at Akuregoda Interested bidders may obtain further information from, The Chairman, Project Procurement Committee (PPC), Defence Headquarters Complex Project, Akuregoda Road, Pelavvatta, Battaramulla and inspect the bidding documents free of charge at the same address from 18th October 2021 until 08th November 2021 from 0900 hrs to 1600 hrs during working days. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to The Chairman, Project Procurement Committee (PPC) Defence Headquarters Complex Project, Akuregoda Road, Pelawatta, Battaramulla from 18th October 2021 until 08th November 2021 from 0900 hrs to 1600 hrs upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Four Thousand Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR 4,000.00). The method of payment will be in Cash/Bank draft in favour of Director, Project Management Unit, Defence Headquarters Complex Project. Bids shall be valid from 08th November 2021 to 08th February 2022 both days inclusive (90 days). All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid-Security of Two Hundred Eighty Thousand Rupees (LKR 280,000.00) shall be issued by a commercial bank operating in Sri Lanka approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. This Bid-Security shall be in the form of an unconditional, on demand bond and shall be valid up to the date of Bid Opening from 08th November 2021 to 07th March 2022 with both days inclusive (120 days). The pre bid meeting will be held at 1100 hrs on 25th October 2021 at Project Management Unit of Defence Headquarters Complex site at Akuregoda Road, Pelawatta, Battaramulla. Bids shall be delivered to the address below or shall be deposited in the tender box placed in the below address at or before 1000 hrs on 08th November 2021. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened soon after closing in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend.
