• Tenders are invited for Registration of Importers to Import Essential Goods (Essential Food Items, Etc) under the Indian Credit Scheme for the Year 2022. Essential Food Items Essential Medicines Cement Textiles Animal Fodder Raw Materials Used for Industries Special Fertilizer Varieties Importers who have effected essential Imports from India during the previous year or Importers who are expecting to make such imports from India can register themselves from 21.03.2022 up to 28.03.2022 a the Ministry of Trade, by accessing the Website of the Ministry https://www.trade.gov.lk on on-line method. A hard copy of the completed application could either be sent by Registered Post or handed over to the Ministry of Trade, to be received at or before 3.30 p.m. on 28.03.2022.
