• Description:
• Quotation are invited for Supply and Installation of a Clock in the Clocktower Located at Matale Town Center The Master Clock should operate according to GPS technology, should contain battery power to operate for a minimum period of 06 hours at a time of power failure and should include an electronically controlled charger of 220 Volts. Central machine - should consist of a 12 volts motor with the required gear system for responding to signals from the main clock for distribution to the four sides. Correction of time automatically Should operate for about 06 hours at a time of power failure and if the time stops. it should automatically restart immediately with the corrected time when the main power returns. Face of the clock (dial) • The dial should have a white colour background and the figures should be in black colour. • The figures should consist of Indo Arabic (1, 2. 3) • The machinery in the dial should consist of heavy duty material and the minutes and hours arms should be 1/8" thick with aluminum plating. • The dial should be of plastic plating and 2.5 mm thickness and of a size capable of fixing. • The casing should be 3.5 x 3.5 feet made of aluminum plating 1.2 mm in thickness. • Should be protected from rain and external hazards. A note regarding the protection procedures taken should be indicated when submitting quotations. 05. Internal lighting of the dial in the clock. Should have a switch for lighting LED or CFL lamps during night time (lighting should be automatically activated). 06.
