• Tenders are invited for Supply of Computer Chairs Bid Security (LKR) (M.): 72,000.00 Further details could be obtained by the interested bidders, from the Provincial Ministry of Education, Information Technology and Cultural Affairs, Sabaragamuwa Province (Telephone: 045-2222542 and Fax No.: 045-2228042) and the bidding documents could be inspected free of charge, from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. on working days of the week, from 23.05.2022 to 10.06.2022. A complete set of bidding documents could be purchased by the interested bidders on submission of a written request to the following address from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. from 23.05.2022 to 10.06.2022 upon payment of a non-refundablc fee of Rs. 3,500.00 in cash. It is scheduled to hold the pre-bid meeting at 10.00 a.m. on 02.06.2022 at the Assembly Hall of the Ministry of Education, Information Technology and Cultural Affairs and in case, if the said meeting were not possible to hold live on the stipulated date as scheduled due to any unavoidable reason whatsoever it will be held via Zoom Technology at 10.00 a.m. on the same day. Prospective bidders expected to participate in this meeting should have to submit a request letter, through Fax No. 045-2228042 or via email address: edusabaram@gmail.com and the Zoom link connection will be sent to your institution-s email address. Sealed bids in duplicate (two copies), should either be sent by registered post, to the following address or deposited in the Tender Box, kept opposite the Room of the Chief Accountant of this Ministry, to receive on or before 11.30 am. on 13.06.2022. Late Bids will be rejected. The caption to the effect “Bids for the supply and delivery / distribution of wooden furniture and equipment - GEMP 2022”, should be clearly indicated on the top left- hand corner of the envelope enclosing bids. Bids will be opened immediately after closing of bids, in the presence bidder or of his authorized agents who choose to attend and a letter of authorization by the bidder is needed if an agent is represented at the opening for the bidder and it is mandatory and compulsory. Bids should be addressed to: Ministry of Education, Information, Technology and Cultural Affaii-s, Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council, New Town, Ratnapura. All the bids should be valid up to 12.08.2022.
