• Description:
• Tenders are invited for Supply & Delivery of 02 Main Deck Loaders for Use within Bandaranaike International Airport & Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport 1. Type and cargo weight - Self-propelled container main deck pallet loader that has capability of lifting and transferring ULDs with standards base dimensions and weights as outlined in AHM 909. Maximum capacity should not be less than 25,000 Kg. 2. Engine - Diesel, liquid/water cooled (please specify the make and model). 3. Emergency system to enable unit to be removed from Aircraft in the event of malfunction 4. Emergency system should have an unrestricted access for engine, hydraulic pump and electrical system for repairs. 5. Lift elevation : a) Front Platform capable of operating between 83 inches or below and 218 inches or inches above b) Main Platform capable of operating between -20 inches or below and 218 inches or above 6. Overall height - not exceed more than 3.6 m when being driven. 7. Transfer (conveying) speed - not less 60 ft/min (18m/min). 8. The time taken for the main platform under the full load condition to reach maximum height from the lowered position shall not exceed 60 seconds. 9. Steering - Hydraulically assisted. 10. Service Aircraft type : Main deck : Please specify Lower deck : Please Specify 11. MDL should equipment with two front wheels. 12. Should be in compliance with AHM 909,910,911, 913, 915. 13. Should be in compliance with AHM 932, except changes made. 14. A flashing amber beacon should be provided. 15. Reverse warning buzzer should be fixed. 16. Complete instrumentation and failure warning indicators (Standard technical and safety warnings/indictors in English language) should be fitted 17. Rubber bumper on all surfaces that may come in to contact with Aircraft. 18. All operations for transferring ULDs and rotation containers are powered. 19. The width of both platforms shall be adequate to accept a ULD with its 125 inches (3175mm) dimension across the platform. 20. Consoles functions to be identified in English using elementary concise terms and supplementary by graphic symbols. 21. Device to ensure main platform does not rise higher than front platform. 22. A battery cut off master switch to be incorporated to cut supply from batteries. 23. Working lights for night operation to be provided. 24. Should be capable of opening and closing cargo doors from the loader. 25. Should be capable of front platform tilting. 26. Foldable or retractable handrail on front platform left side, should be provided. 27. The Front platform & Main platform should consist of hydraulically driven system. Convey system should be fast, efficient and precise providing full control of ULDs in faster aircraft loading. It should be capable of positioning and moving cargo pallets and all types of containers. (ULD) (Please specify convey system). 28. a) For precise loading of ULDs to aircraft, the bridge section should consist of hydraulically adjustable side guides, preferably automatic. The front of the bridge should be equipped with a folding wing so that the loader can be used to transfer cargo to or from aircraft with narrow door widths.
