• Tenders are invited for Supply, Delivery, Installation & Commissioning of 250 kvA/400v/230v/50Hz Diesel Generator Tender Fee: 2500 Bid Security: 20000/-. 3. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security/Securities as mentioned above for tbe items bided, valid till 04-07-2022, irrevocable & unconditionally encashable upon the first written request by SLTB and issued by a registered commercial bank approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka or an Insurance Agency registered with the Insurance Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka. Any Bid not accompanied by a valid Bid Security will be rejected. 4. If the total value of items bided by a bidder exceeds Rs 5 Mn, the following is applicable: (a) Any person who acts as an Agent, Sub agent, Representative or Nominee for or on behalf of a Bidder should register with the Registrar of Public Contracts, "Samagam Medura", D. R. Wijewardene Mawatha, Colombo 10. in terms of Public Contracts Act Number 3 of 1987 before submitting the bid. (b) Bidders shall also register themselves immediately after submission ofbids and prior to tbe award of the procurement in terms of the Public Contracts Act. No. 03 of 1987. The procurement shall not be awarded to any bidder unless such bidder has submitted the Certificate of Registration issued in terms of the Public Contracts Act to the relevant Procurement Committee. 5. All pages of the Bid Documents shall be initialed by the Bidder and his seal affixed. Bids should either be deposited in the Bid Box maintained for this purpose at this office or sent by post under registered cover in duplicate. The sealed cover in which the Bid is enclosed should be marked "Supply, Delivery, Installation & Commissioning (including Training) of Required Machinery for SLTB Ampara Tyre Factory" at the top left-hand side corner of the envelope. Bidding will be closed at 10.30 a.m. on 03-03-2022 and Bids will be opened immediately thereafter at the Tender Section, Sri Lanka Transport Board, 200, Kirula Road, Colombo 05. Bidders or their authorized representatives are requested to be present at the opening of Bids. 6. Bids should either be deposited in the Bid Box maintained for this purpose at this office or sent by post under registered cover in duplicate.
