• Tenders are invited for Supply of Low Long Term Care Beds for Stroke Patients with Mattress Length—with Standard Sleep Deck 93.25” (237 Cm) Length—with Extended Sleep Deck 97.25” (247 Cm) 2 Maximum Width—with siderails40” (101.6 Cm) Minimum under Bed Clearance 5.5" (13.9 Cm) Head Section Inclination (Maximum) 60°, Raises to Heights from 8.5 to 26.5 Inches A pre-bid meeting shall take place at 1000 Hrs on 19thNovember 2021 at above address conducted by the Employer. All bidders are strongly advised to attend this pre-bid meeting. To purchase the Bidding Document in English, eligible bidders should submit a written request/application to the address above requesting the Bidding Document for the Procurement of Medical Furniture for 45 Facilities - Gil for the Health System Enhancement Project and pay a non-refundable fee of LKR 14,000.00 on or before 1500 Hrs on 6th December 2021. The method of payment will be in the form of bank draft or cheque in favor of the “Secretary, Ministry of Health - A/C 7040309” or in cash, from 0900 Hrs to 1500 Hrs on working days or pay by direct deposit to bank account number 7040309 at Bank of Ceylon. The Bidding Document may also be sent by air mail for overseas delivery and surface mail or courier for local delivery with an additional fee of US$ 100 and LKR 5000.00 respectively in addition to the non-refundable fee stated under para 8. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery. Bids shall be delivered to the address given in para 7 above on or before 1000 Hrs on 07th December 2021 together with the Bid Security as specified in the bidding document. If the Bid Security is submitted in a form of a Bank Guarantee, it shall be issued using the format given in the Section 4 of Bidding forms by a commercial bank approved by Central Bank of Sri Lanka in favor of “The Project Director - Health System Enhancement Project”. Late Bids will be rejected and returned unopened.
