• Tenders are invited for Supply of Raw Food Items Sealed Bids are Invited by the Chairman, Procurement Committee up to 10.00 a.m. On 07.0s.2024 from Citizens of Sri Lanka, Business Establishments, Manufacturers (Suppliers) Who can Assure Continuous Supply of Food Items to the Sri Jayawardenapura General Hospital, Thalapathpitiya, Nugegoda for Year 2024/2025 for the Consumption of Resident Patients and the Hospital Employees. Accordingly, the Relevant Supplier should be Able to Supply Fresh Vegetables, Fresh Fruits, Meat and Eggs, Dry Food Items, Rice, Bakery Products, Cooked Meals and Packed Food Items (Packets, Tins, Bottles). Bids will be Conducted through National Competitive Bidding (Ncb) Procedure. Interested Bidders may Obtain Tender Forms from the Supplies Office between 9.00 a.m. And 3.00 p.m. On Weekdays from 16.02.2024 until 06.03.2024 on Submission of a Written Request on a Letterhead of the Institution to the Director of the Supplies Division along with the Receipt Obtained upon Payment of a Non-Refundable Application Fee of Rs. 3,500.00 to the Accountant of the Sri Jayawardenapura General Hospital. Approximate Quantity of Requirements and Information of Food Items Required for Year 2024/2025 will be Provided with the Application. Only the Applicants Who Possess Records of Satisfactory Performance and Three Years Experience in Supplying Food Items Either to a Government Hospital, Tri Forces or Prisons or to a Premises Where More than 500 Persons Consume Food Daily will be Taken into Consideration. Pca 03 Form Obtained from the Samagam Medura as Per Chapter 08 of the Public Contracts Act should be Submitted with the Bid. Duly signed and after placing the Official Rubber Stamp, applications should be inserted in an envelope mentioning ‘‘Contract for the Supply of Food Items to Sri Jayawardenapura General Hospital for V'ear 2024 / 2025” on the left-hand top corner and may either he sent by registered post to the address given below or deposited in the Tender Box kept at that address to receive at or before 10.00 a.m. on 07.03.2024. Applications will be opened immediately after closing of applications. Applicant or his/her authorized representative may be present at tlie time of opening of applications. Late applications will be rejected and will be returned unopened.
