• Tenders are invited for Supply of Safety Item Equipment & Fire Fighting Equipment. Diving Equipment and Other Accessories Separate applications for registration should be forwarded for category Nos. 1 to 32 mentioned above. Applicants should clearly indicate in their applications the relevant category Nos. for which the registration is sought. Application forms for registration could be obtained between 9.00 am. and 03.00 p.m. on any working day up to 30.11.2022 from the office of the Chief Manager (Supplies and Material Management), Supplies & Material Management Division , Sri Lanka Ports Authority , No. 45, Leyden Bastian Road, Colombo 01 on payment of Rs. 1000/- + VAT for each categoiy for which the registration is sought. Quotations for the supply of goods will normally be called from the list of registered suppliers. However the Sri Lanka Ports Authority reserves the right to obtain quotations and make purchases from non-registered suppliers as well. Names of registered suppliers who fail to quote or forward samples promptly when requested or fail to make deliveries within the specified time as per the purchase orders or who supply substandard material are liable to be struck off from the list of registered suppliers of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority. All applicants should be forwarded under Registered Cover and addressed to the Chief Manager (Supplies and Material Management), Supplies and Material Management Division, Sri Lanka Ports Authority, No. 45, Layden Bastian Road, Colombo 01 to reach him on or before 30.11.2022 with the words "REGISTRATION OF LOCAL SUPPLIERS FOR 2023" written at the top left -hand corner of the envelope. Late applications, without required supporting documents will not be entertained. Applications could also be personally handed over at the Chief Manager (S&MM)'s office.
