• Tenders are invited for Supply of VVIP Special Chairs for Block 01,02,03 and 04 of Defence Headquarters Complex at Akuregoda Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from The Chairman, Project Procurement Committee (PPC), Defence Headquarters Complex Project, Akuregoda Road, Pelawatta, Battaramulla and inspect the Bidding Documents at the above address from 0900 hrs to 1500 hrs on any working day between 24th January 2022 and 17**1 February 2022 Tel: 0094-011-4209885, Fax: 0094-011-4209885, E-mail: pmudhqc@gmail.com. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address: The Chairman, Project Procurement Committee (PPC), Defence Headquarters Complex Project, Akuregoda Road, Pelawatta, Battaramulla and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ten Thousand Five Hundred Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR 10,500.00). The method of payment shall be in cash or bank draft in favour of The Director, Project Management Unit, Defence Headquarters Complex Project, Akuregoda Road, Pelawatta, Battaramulla. A pre bid meeting will be held at 1000 hrs on 03rd February 2022 at Defence Headquarters Complex site at Akuregoda. Pelawatta, Battaramulla. Duly completed Bids shall be delivered to: The Chairman, Project Procurement Committee (PPC), Defence Headquarters Complex Project, Akuregoda Road, Pelawatta, Battaramulla at or before 1000 hrs on 18th February 2022. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened soon after closing in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend in person at Project Management Unit, Defence Headquarters Complex Project, Akuregoda Road, Pelawatta, Battaramulla. All bids shall be accompanied by a "Bid-Security", of Four Hundred Ten Thousand (LKR 410,000.00) obtained from a commercial bank operating in Sri Lanka approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. This Bid Security shall be in the form of an unconditional, on demand guarantee in the format specified in the bidding document and shall be valid up to 17thJune 2022 (119 Days after the Bid opening). Bidders are strongly advised to present the registration certificate under the Public Contracts Act No. 3 of 1987 when relevant, before purchasing the Bidding Document from The Chairman, Project Procurement Committee (PPC), Defence Headquarters Complex Project, Akuregoda Road, Pelawatta, Battaramulla.
