• Description:
• Tenders are invited for Supplying, Installation & Commissioning of Play Items of Proposed Children-S Play Area. 1. Sri Lanka Land Development Corporation under the Ministry of Urban Development & Housing is carrying out a Construction of Proposed Children Park at Holuwagoda, Galle. Under the above project, it is needed to get bids for Supplying, Installation & Commissioning of play items for proposed Children Park from reputed suppliers who are involving similar nature of work. 2. To be eligible for contract award, the successful bidder shall have not been blacklisted and shall meet the following requirements. 3. Interested eligible bidders could be taken further information from Deputy General Manager (Drainage & Reclamation), Sri Lanka Land Development Corporation, Tel: 0112886965 , Fax: 0112862058, and inspect the bidding documents at the office of Deputy General Manager (Supplies & Stores), Sri Lanka Land Development Corporation during the office hours, from 03rd February 2023 to 23rd February 2023. 4. A complete set of Bidding Document in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the Deputy General Manager (Supplies & Stores), Sri Lanka Land Development Corporation (SLLDC) during working days from 03rd February 2023 to 23rd February 2023 upon payments of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 7,500.00. The method of payment to be made by cash to, Sri Lanka Land Development Corporation. 5. Bid shall be valid up to 26th May 2023 (91 Days) from the bid opening date. 6. All Bids shall be accompanied by a bid security. Bid security shall be Rs 250,000.00 from a Licensed Commercial Bank operating in Sri Lanka (approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka). It shall be irrevocable and unconditionally en-cashable upon the first written demand by the employer. Bid security shall be valid up to the 23rd June 2023 119 days from the bid opening date. Cash bonds also could be submitted. Special Note: 1. Supplier is responsible for delivering all the Play items at site on or before 30 days after issuing the LOA. 2. Supplier is responsible for installing and commissioning all the play items at site on or before 30 days after issuing the LOA. 3. Supplier shall update and present their status of the importing the items by weekly to SLLDC after awarding the contract. 4. Payment will be made after completion and commissioning the play equipments. 5. All Equipment should be recommended for outdoor (heavy duty) non corrosive Use - Proofing Documentary evidence should be submitted. 6. All Products and materials should be nontoxic and recommended for kids use. 7. All equipments should be with a comprehensive unconditional Warranty of minimum 10 years. 8. Supplier has to submit all the drawings, measurements and specifications (including country of origin etc.) for the above mentioned equipment when submitting the bid document. 09. Supplier has to submit the drawings for Fixing details of necessary Nuts, Bolts and Washers and other related fastening accessories use for the installation at the required location. 10. Selected supplier shall supply necessary Stainless (Non corrosive) steel Nut, Bolts and other fastening accessories immediately to site to fix on the concrete base and supplier should prepare the concrete base according to the necessary safety Standard in order to expedite the work at site. 11. Contractor is liable for one year maintenance period after approving the Commissioning & Handing over tasks by the Engineer (SLLDC) and if any defects are identified, the necessary repair rectification should be done by the supplier with free of charge immediately. 12. These play items should have been manufactured for the acceptable standards and heavy duty type. Hence Technicians should be allocated to site to attend the necessary adjustment in the play items at the operation stage. 13. Contractor should have similar nature of work experience during the last five years period and contractor shall submit proofing documentary evidence etc. 14.
