Description:
International Finance Corporation (“IFC”) is seekingto engage a firm in Sri Lanka to provide specialist taxation and accounting advicein connection with the feasibility of establishing diversified payment rights(“DPRs”) transactions with Sri Lanka financial institutions as originators. Adviceis required to understand accounting and taxation implications under the lawsof Sri Lanka (the “Country”) and Sri Lankan IFRS / local GAAP. The firm will deliver a memo on the tax and accounting treatments of DPR transactions originatedby banks incorporated in Sri Lanka, which will include, among others, citations of relevant statutory, regulatory, or accounting provisions. Required qualifications for the lead tax and accounting consultant include at least 15 years of experience in providing tax and accounting adviceto financial institutions in Sri Lanka.
