• Description:
• Tenders are invited for Transportation or Food Stocks in 20' or 40' Containers or Cover Lorries from Railway Stores Yard, Olcott Mawatha, Maradana / Orug'odawatta / Veyangoda Complex to the Destinations - All District Secretariats / Multi-Purpose Co-Operative Societies / Mini Co-Ops and Co-Op Cities. Interested bidders could obtain further details from the Accounts Division of Food Commissioner's Department, No. 330, Union Place, Colombo-02 (TP: 0112-424211 / 0112-329216). Relevant Bid application forms could be obtained on working days of the week from 9.00 a.m. up to 10.30 a.m. on the day of opening of bids upon payment of a sum of Rs. 5,000/-(Non-Refundable)made to the Shroff at the Head Office. It is compulsory to submit a request letter to obtain bid forms. A photocopy of the receipt issued by the Shroff for the payment made should be attached to the application form. A Bid Security to the value of Rs. Two Hundred Thousand (Rs. 200,000/-) obtained from a government approved bank should be submitted along with bid documents and documents submitted without the Bid Security will be rejected.
